Have we got a whole bunch of movies you've probably never heard of for you today! Counterprogramming against blockbusters is a mixed bag as there's usually less adult-centric fare to be found in these months, but there are still six skinsational films that were released on May 6 in Movie Nudity History!
2016: Being Charlie
Director Rob Reiner was back behind the camera to direct this coming-of-age drama co-written by his son Nick. Before he rose to fame in Love, Simon, Nick Robinson played the title character, who turns 18 and checks himself out of a youth rehab center to return home. Upon arriving home, however, his parents stage an intervention and send him off to full-blown adult rehab. Here he meets Eva (Morgan Saylor) an equally troubled young woman battling demons of her own, while also growing closer to Charlie!
Morgan Saylor would truly break out of her child star mold later that year with her performance in White Girl, but shebared some terrific TA in this flick while laying in bed with her beau...
We also get some bonus boobage from Aubrey Reynolds as Charlie's first gal pal, flashing her fun bags just seven minutes in while getting out of bed...
2016: Dheepan
After winning the Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, audiences in America had to wait nearly a year for this acclaimed French film to hit our shores. Based on both theBaron de Montesquieu’s 1721 novelPersian Letters and Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs—which we recently talked about in our Anatomy of a Scene's Anatomy column—the film chronicles one man's journey from soldier to refugee when he assumes a dead man's identity to travel safely out of Sri Lanka to France.
Kalieaswari Srinivasan plays his "wife" as part of his cover to get refugee status, and though we don't get to see her big breasts, we do get a nice look at her ass as she walks across a room naked...
2016: Bite
Following a limited 2015 run in its native Canada, this horror flick made its way Stateside four years ago today! Elma Begovic plays ablushing bride-to-be who gets bit by a strange bug during a tropical bachelorette party. Upon returning home, she begins transforming into an insect-like creature straight out of a Cronenbergian nightmare! Thankfully she spends lots of time in skimpy bikinis and even slips a nip in the tub...
2011: The Bang Bang Club
Set in the waning days of South African apartheid, this film chronicles a group of photojournalists given the titular nickname for their willingness to do their job in some pretty hostile territory. Malin Akerman plays a photo editor, but sadly doesn't get nude in the film. That distinction goes to Nina Milner, who bares her breasts while posing for some skintillating pics, though they very strangely and crudely censoredher bush...
2011: Daydream Nation
After playing the prior year's Toronto International Film Festival, this Kat Dennings vehicle finally got released on this day nine years ago, though anyone holding out hope for Dennings' nude debut was sorely disappointed. Thankfully Katie Boland was on hand for a pair of topless sex scenes...
1983: Still Smokin'
All roads in and out of stoner comedy town must run through at least one Cheech Chong flick, but their penultimate collaboration is easily their most skin-filled! Here the dynamic duo head to Amsterdam for a film festival, where they are immediately mistaken for Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. Things don't make much more sense from there as they basically run through a bunch of bits from their albums. Overall, it's not the strongest effort from the two, but it certainly beats their last proper film together, the following year'sThe Corsican Brothers.
Obviously the fun of this one is these two professed stoners living it up in the land of legal weed and prostitution, but all the skin comes from a trip to the spa! In this nearly 15 minute long sequence, the guys—Cheech in particular—become obsessed withLinnea Quigleyand a group of topless women enjoying their day at the spa.The stills may not seem impressive, but the movie grinds to a halt for this extended topless scene from 80s skin queen Linnea, along with all her pals!
