Monsieur Spade (2024-)

A new story featuring classic noir detective Sam Spade, who most know from Humphrey Bogart’s portrayal in the film adaptation of Dashiell Hammett’s The Maltese Falcon, this series stars Clive Owen as the titular gumshoe as he is trying to ensure the safety of a young girl named Teresa in 1955. He ends up leaving her with some nuns who run a convent in the south of France and at the same time has a chance meeting with a beautiful French woman named Gabrielle (Chiara Mastroianni). Eight years later, we learn that Sam and Gabrielle got married and she has recently passed away, leaving him alone at their palatial estate in Bozouls. We also learn that six of the nuns taking care of the now teenage Teresa have been murdered, and the prime suspect seems to be her long lost father, a thief named Philippe Saint-Andre (Jonathan Zaccai). Though he's now busy being back on the case, we still flash back to moments with the charming Chiara, and she brings out her cha chas in the second episode when she walks naked around their pool. Her phenomenal French funbags will create an Eiffel Tower in your pants!
