Meet Joe Black (1998)

An updated version of Alberto Casella's stage play Death Takes a Holiday (which has seen two prior adaptations, 1934's Fredric March flick and a made-for-TV take in 1971), Meet Joe Black (1998) stars Brad Pitt as Death himself. He's come to pay mega moneybags Anthony Hopkins a call; Old Man Hopkins has suffered a heart attack, but he doesn't want to go to the great beyond just yet. This is handy for Brad, since he's been wondering what life is like for the living. He decides he'll hang around a bit while Tony gets his affairs in order. It's not long before dapper Mr. Death is falling hard for Tony's daughter, Claire Forlani, and who can blame him? Anyone with a pulse can see that Forlani's a fine filly. But does Claire know what kind of morbid mess she's getting herself into?
