No, no, no – this Polish series doesn’t have anything to do with the men in white pointy hats. Rather, it is a drama that tells the story of a family located in Lubicz. The oldest members are Maria (Halina Dobrowolska) and Wladyslaw (Zygmunt Kestowicz) who live together with their five adult children and their families. The story realistically portrays their everyday life and the problems associated with it (exams, infertility, etc.) and has been running successfully in Poland since 1997 with no end in sight. Although the Poles are supposedly rather kinky, Klan sadly doesn’t offer much in this category.
