Stunning beauty Jeramie Rain was born on August 23, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia. After delving into soap operas like General Hospital and The Doctors, she went on to far more controversial fare. Jeramie only made three films--and only one of them has really become a classic--but she couldn't have chosen better titles to showcase her boobage. Actually, the trashy comedy Preacherman (1971) doesn't have nearly enough Rain, but Last House on the Left (1972) is a shower of perversion, made more so by Jeramie displaying her ju-jus while playing a real psycho. The Abductors (1972), part of Cheri Caffaro's series of films as slutty secret agent Ginger, was Jeramie's real showcase of skin. She steals the show as a young woman kidnapped by the white slave industry. She's no mere victim, though, and the defiant spitfire puts up plenty of full-frontal fights while sporting a sexy Klute 'do. While Mr. Skin and his horde of flesh fiends at Skin Central can't help but feel a wilting in our loins for the inactive career of Jeramie Rain, at least one can look back particularly at her work with Wes Craven and admire how craven this hottie actually was. It takes guts to be as crazy as her character was in that film, and even lust-thirsty man knows that crazy and hot is a very fine line.
