How I Became a Gangster (2019)

A young boy in 1970’s Poland spends his days getting into fights, joyriding in his father’s taxi, and hanging out at a sleazy hotel populated by gangsters and sex workers. He becomes a teen pimp, getting girls for Saudi tourists who he occasionally beats the hell out of if they get too physical, and eventually works his way up through the ranks of the Warsaw underground until finally landing in prison. When he gets out, he (Martin Kowalczyk) starts his own criminal enterprise and marries the beautiful Magda (Natalia Szroeder) who somehow believes he’s just a rich taxi driver. The real heat comes from the protagonists’s coked-addled number 2 (Tomasz Wlosok) and his lover Wiola, played by the mam-nificent Natalia Siwiec.
