Best described as Love Boat without A) the low-rent humor and B) the boat, this cleverly entitled nighttime soaper starred James Brolin and Connie Selleca and was about…well, a hotel, of course. Various b-level TV stars would pop in for a few nights stay, share a tryst, or misplace a jewel, the regulars would banter and beam and that’s about it. It managed to find a nice home for six seasons before hitting the penthouse for good.
