A year ago, I wrote a blog post called These Are The Sexiest Movies Based on the Lesbian Vampire Story "Carmilla" and since I wrote that, a new version of Carmilla has been made. True to the others, it shows sexy young women exploring each other's suck sacks as they yearn to suck blood. That's why I love every version of Carmilla so much! If there's an interpretation of Carmilla, then there are going to be sexy young women loving on each other.

First, some background. Before Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, there was this novella fromJoseph Sheridan Le Fanuwritten in 1872, about a teenage girl named Laura who has a vision of a lovely woman visiting her in her sleep and puncturing her breast. Hot, right? Years later, Laura meets Carmilla and is attracted to her almost instantly. They become very good friends - and even become more than friends -with Laura believing that Carmilla was the woman in her dream (spoiler alert: she was). Laura soon discovers that Carmilla is actually an ancient vampire named Countess Mircalla and she and her father exhume her body to prove it. They drive a stake through her heart and put an end to her vampirism and to Laura and Carmilla's relationship.

Lesbian lust and vampire vixens? Count me in. Count me in over and over and over again. So many iterations of Carmilla have been made including The Vampire Carmilla, The Unwanted, The Vampire Lovers, Lust for a Vampire, The Blood Spattered Bride, and Twins of Evil just to name a few. That's a great list, right? Enter the 2019 film Carmilla. Devrim Lingnauand Hannah Rae star in this new iteration directed by Emily Harris. Her version isvery truthful to the original story and does give us a great shot of Devrim's booty when she rises naked.
