Born in Seoul, and raised in both South Korea and China, this actress and social media star started on the stages of Seoul and Beijing and eventually made her way to Los Angeles to train at the the Art of Acting Studio in 2021. There, the fluent English speaker appeared in her very first acting role for the short film Happy Ending. It gave her the confidence to send in an audition tape for the Netflix series XO, Kitty from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’s Jenny Han and the rest is herstory! She ended up gaining worldwide fame as the rich and popular Yuri, a closeted queen bee at a Korean boarding school. In one episode, Gia and costar Regan Aliyah share some secret smooches in a closet before they’re torn apart by their parents, and in another she becomes the star of the title character’s steamy dreams! Now that her star is on the rise, perhaps we’ll get a sneak peek of Gia’s kitty in the future!
