Freud (2020)

Great Nudity!

Review

2020's Freud is a one season lasting Austrian-German Netflix series that imagines a world in which the apparently cocaine loving psychologist Sigmund Freud (Robert Finster) investigates a murder using his pioneering psychological techniques. The devil, math geniuses, ninjas, psychics, you name it: everybody on TV has to solve crimes these days. Sigmund's not the big deal he'll become in the future, so he decides he'll fake some hypnosis stuff using his housekeeper (Brigitte Kren) to impress the Vienna medical crowd. He truly believes in hypnosis, but sort of sucks at it. But after he fails to save a dying woman, and attends a séance starring Fleur Salome (Ella Rumpf), Sigmund thinks his powers could be used to unlock some hidden memories in this sexy medium. She's hesitant because it ends up she's part of a criminal conspiracy. Unlike her niece Fleur, Sophia (Anja Kling) has legitimate hypnosis powers, which is a bit of a problem since she's looking to kill the Austrian Crown Prince. Add to that Fleur's trips to the demon world, Satanic figures fighting for power, and Freud's penchant for drug fuelled orgy attendance and this one will have you hooked for all eight episodes. It doesn't take a psychologist to figure out the gist of why you'd want to watch this show: it's the period piece tits! Oh yes, the big old Super-iddies! No id-ing! You'll be dying to humpf Ella Rumpf seeing her rump and rack as she rolls around naked during a blood filled cult ceremony. Oh but don't worry, you know the dude who invented the idea of libido was going to end up sinking his cigar into that sex kitten a few episodes later, and sure enough he does! The discoverer of displacement places his hands all over Ella's body, and next thing you know it Freud is all up in that void! Our psychoanalysis is you'll get psychotically horny seeing those hooters on Freud
