Dicte (2013)

A crime reporter and her teenage daughter move back to their hometown on the Danish crime series Dicte (2012-). Based on a series of popular novels by author Elsebeth Egholm, Dicte stars Iben Hjejle as Dicte Svendsen, a journalist who returns to her hometown of Aarhus after a messy divorce. But not only is her painful past as a Jehovah's Witness preventing her from truly starting over, but it seems that wherever Dicte goes, murder and mayhem follow.
