Adapted from the 1993 Kerstin Ekmin crime novel Händelser vid vatten, this Swedish six-part series tells the story of how the murder of two tourists camping in the mountains of North Sweden near the town of Blackwater in the 70s connects the lives of four random people. Pernilla August stars as the older Annie Raft in 1991, the year of another murder in the area, while her real-lifer daughter Asta Kamma August plays her in 1973. Asta’s Annie is living in an isolated commune where folks seemingly sleep, shower, and swim in the nude, which means ton of full frontal complete with a bevy of 70s bush, boobs, and butt.
