By Selwyn HarrisAffably friendly, awe-inspiringly beautiful Angela Little lives up to her last name in that she stands just five-feet-two-inches tall, but she packs tremendous talent into her bite-sized, built-to-thrill form.
Alabama-born Angela took the titles Best Figure and Biggest Flirt while she was in college. No doubt these two attributes served her well as both a St. Pauli Girl and Playboy Playmate of the Month in August 1998.
Since then, Angela has ignited screens both big and small as an actress, turning up (and turning audiences on) in the Showtime series Rude Awakening, as well as the fun B-movie thriller The Back Lot Murders (2001).
And now this Dixie dreamboat is displaying her comedic skills--along with that flawless physique--in the uproarious new installment in the American Pie movie series, American Pie Presents Band Camp.
American Pie Presents Band Camp comes out on DVD December 26th. Angela took some time to talk to MrSkin.com about her role as a stiffed ex of the notorious Stifler, along with some of her other favorite sirens of the silver screen.
You're a Southern belle. What famous Southern women were inspirations to you growing up?
I really liked the old-time movie actresses, so I'd say Tallulah Bankhead. She was from Alabama too. When I was little, I told everyone that my name was Tallulah. They thought I was weird, but that's okay. 'Cause I am.
You were the Playboy Playmate of the Month in August 1998. Do you have other Playmates that you look up to?
Kim Basinger. The photographer who shot my pictorial also shot hers. And he shot Donna D'Errico and Pam Anderson. Pam is somebody I really admire. She's a smart girl and she doesn't get enough credit for that.
Do you remember the first time you saw a copy of Playboy?
I do! It was under my father's bed. He should have tried harder to hide it. I opened it up and thought it was amazing! I had never seen women that looked like that. My mom didn't look like that. The one thing that's funny now is the way their private areas were all grown-out back then. I was too little to know to look at that and go, "Eww!"
Tell us a bit about American Pie Presents Band Camp. What's the story of the movie and who do you play?
Well, everybody knows the character of Steve Stifler from the American Pie movies. In Band Camp, Steve's little brother gets in trouble, so they send him to band camp. But, you know, it's like, "Don't throw me in the briar patch!"--because he figures he can take advantage of the geeks at band camp.
So he takes his brother's advice and brings along a video camera, and he sneaks around taping everything, like girls taking showers.
My character has it in for him, because she was dumped by Steve Stifler.
And now you're an American Pie girl, so I want to throw some names at you of other American Pie girls and get a quick response about what you think of each one:
Shannon Elizabeth
She's very pretty. And she was so hot in the first movie. I thought so. I guess everybody else did too.
Tara Reid
She's cool.
Alyson Hannigan
Alyson is adorable! I think she's probably the most talented of all the girls in the movies.
Nikki Schieler Ziering.
Just plain hot. That's what I have to say about Nikki. She's also very nice and soft spoken. I've met her at the Playboy Mansion a few times and she's always a pleasure.
You've appeared in some very sexy movie scenes. What are some of your all-time favorite sexy movie scenes?
Everybody talks about 9 1/2 Weeks, but that doesn't do much for me. I think my favorite is Glenn Close and Michael Douglas on the sink in Fatal Attraction. She just put her all into that scene!
Do you remember the first movie nude scene you ever saw?
No, I don't, because I have an older brother and an older sister and our mom was always working, so I was watching just the most horrible movies at way too early an age!
Who do you think are the sexiest actresses working today?
I love Diane Lane. When I think of "sexy", I think of more than just aesthetic beauty. Diane's got that, of course, but she's got so much more too.
What actor would you most like to play a love scene with?
Russell Crowe. He's hot. And so talented.
What actress would you most like to play a love scene with?
Penelope Cruz. I think her accent is just to die for. Plus, she's petite, so I wouldn't have to be looking up at her the whole time.
What would be your dream role?
Something along the lines of Naomi Watts in Mulholland Dr. As an actress, she got to go all over the place in the course of just one movie. I think that's one of the deepest performances of all time.
Who would play you in a movie of your life?
My first thought is Dolly Parton, but she's had too much plastic surgery. I know: Hilary Duff!
