Aix mélodie

Unashamedly positioned as a French alternative to Friends, Aix Melodie is a series that deals with a group of four young adults that have been friends from childhood, all living under the same roof in the Aix province. Making up the group are a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher and a painter, with a dancer being the straw that stirs the coffee. And talking of coffee, of course these four upwardly mobile types like nothing more than to wander down to the café and enjoy a cup. God, you can almost hear the French version of Chandler, can’t you? “Merde! Could you BE any more… ‘ow you say… bourgeois?” Olga Sekulic plays one of the group, Emma, and that’s worth noting because she gets down with the skinicism in the feature film, The Truth About Charlie.
