The gorgeous Denise Richards is about to be the subject of an entire documentary series. She is returning to the E! network with her half-hour comedic docuseries cheekily titled Denise Richards and the Wild Things. What is in store for us? Let's talk about it!
Denise Richards has had a long and alluring career in Hollywood. From a 90s starlet who split her time between gut-busting comedies like Drop Dead Gorgeous and thrillers like Wild Things, the big-lipped and big-eyed brunette from the Midwest became a Hollywood hottie. It seems like Denise has always been in the spotlight. At the very least, the Illinois native from the town of Downers Grove looks like she was destined to become a star. You might not recall how she actually got to where she is today.
The young lady made her feature film debut in Starship Troopers where she was fully clothed, but fully intriguing. Her beauty was instantly undeniable. She made appearances on TV sitcoms, but she was meant to be a boner-fide movie star.
By 1999 she was certifiably sexy when she became an official Bond Girl in The World is Not Enough. We couldn't get enough of Denise won the unofficial wet T-shirt contest when her white shirt got all wet and showed her dark nipples through her top.
Wild Things remains her hottest role yet. The psychological thriller had Denise taking off her top, seducing men and women, and having champagne poured on her chest. This was one of the hottest erotic thrillers of the skintillating 90s!
The series is set to premiere in 2025 and is supposedly comedic. What does that mean? If I hear the term 'docuseries' I think that this will be educational. But the word "comedic" makes me wonder if this will be a Keeping Up with the Kardashians type of reality series. Denise previously did a series for E! in 2008 called Denise Richards: It's Complicated and she actually appeared nude in the series.
While she wanted us to believe that her life was complicated, Denise made looking good look easy. She even sunned herself while topless, showing off her perfectly round breasts that continue to look good as she ages.
What can we expect in Denise's new show? According to Deadline, she said in a press statement about the news: “My family and I are thrilled to return home to E! Sami and Lola were just 3 and 4 years old when we first shared our story and now we’ve come full circle. Alex Baskin and I met when I joined ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and I loved doing that show. This is the perfect partnership for our family’s series as our lives are full of fun, love and unpredictability, and we can’t wait for the audience to share this adventure with us.”
Again, she referenced The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I wonder how "documentary" this series will really be. And why is it going to be funny? Is her life that naturally comedic? I know that I am splitting hairs with labels and genres, but I am genuinely curious. I can't believe we have to wait until 2025 to see what that means.
