Prime Time (2021)

What did people do in the age before the internet in order to get the world to listen to their insane ramblings? Well, if the Polish Netflix original film Prime Time (2021) is any indication, it seems that taking a news station hostage to broadcast a message to the people was certainly one way of getting your message across! On a slow news night, which just so happens to be December 31, 1999, star anchor Mira (Magdalena Poplawska) is running late and the panicked station manager has brought in a hot young replacement named Pogodynka (Pola Błasik). When Mira shows up, Pogodynka is bumped—literally—and Mira begins running the show as always. Just then, a young man named Sebastian (Corpus Christi star Bartosz Bielenia) enters the Krakow-based news station armed with a gun and a demand to deliver a message to everyone at home watching! In the ensuing chaos, the feed is actually cut—unbeknownst to Sebastian—and most of the staff escape, leaving him with a very small group of hostages he plans to use as leverage in order to deliver his mysterious message to the world. As the night wears on and all manner of plans are hatched to end the situation, it seems less and less likely that this is going to end pleasantly. One pleasant thing in this flick, however, is a sexy scene early on in the film when Magdalena Poplawska makes Pola Błasik strip down to give her back the anchor dress she had put on, giving us a moment when both babes are standing around in some sexy underwear!
