Girls to Buy (2021)

Based on the book Dziewczyny z Dubaju, this Polish drama centers on Emi (Paulina Galazka), a lower-class beauty queen looking to escape her small town life who’s taken under the wing of Marianka (Katarzyna Sawczuk) and her mother Dorota (Katarzyna Figura) and turned into a high-class escort. Emi eventually rises in the ranks and becomes Dorota’s business partner, then begins an affair with Sam (Guilio Berruti), a pimp who services wealthy Arabian clientele. Dorota is miffed, suspecting they are mixing business with pleasure and leaving her out of the deal and the two ladies have a falling out that results in Emi striking out on her own. Her business does great… until it doesn’t, and Emi tries to finally leave that world behind and start a family with Bartek (Józef Parlowski). He has no idea about her past, so of course, one day it comes back to haunt her. Paulina shows all three Bs as the mam-nificent madam and Katarzyna sports pasties and lingerie, plus there’s a huge party scene full of random naked chicks adorned in gold! These Polish pussycats? Priceless!
