Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead (2014)

The Australian Outback is full of spiders, snakes, bats and… Zombies? Zoinks! Director Kiah Roache-Turner’s unusually well received for the genre Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead revolves around Barry (Jay Gallagher), a skilled mechanic who must brave a zombiefied Outback to save his sister, Brooke (Bianca Bradey). Brooke, captured by an evil psychotic doctor, must be rescued before being sliced and diced. Bianca could be Mila Kunis’ twin, and is a sexy sweaty badass as she kicks zombie butt and takes zombie names! Plenty of low-budget but high-energy gore ahead!
