“There wasn’t a holiday that Hollywood publicists didn’t know how to use to their advantage, especially in the heyday of the studios when starlets under contact were obliged to pose for the staff photographers,” observes IndieWire.com. “Although this gratuitous {great•two•it•is?} exploitation of women is no longer a Hollywood studio practice, the old photos are a hoot to peruse.” Make that hooter

Can you believe that citrus garnish is an actual serving suggestion for this Thanksgiving??!

Breast or thigh?’ is the age-old query … but sorry dearie, there’s no debate what we want on our plate!

So this portion of the ‘Turkey Day’ meal is D•edicated to the ‘Breast Men’ out there—serving up a quintet of contoured queens whose bras needed no stuffing:

AVA GARDNER

The brunette equivalent and rival of redhead Rita Hayworth—who ended our prior post—was blessed with a 36C-23½-37 form that prompted Ava to assert: “Petting is the study of the anatomy in Braille.”

We see that her figure prompted many a pilgrim•age (above left) … and made Ol’ Blue Eyes her love slave (above right). “As a sexual volcano,” wrote his biographer, “she ruled him in bed.” Gardner’s motto was ‘never give an inch,” but Sinatra reportedly gave her more like a dozen. Asked by director John Ford: “What do you see in that 120-pound runt?” Ava replied: “Well, there’s only 10 pounds of Frank and 110 pounds of cock.”

MARIE McDONALD

Born Cora Marie Frye in Kentucky, she took the name of her Ziegfeld Girl mom and was dubbed ‘The Body’ (above right) at age 19 “because of her shapely physique.”

“I’m 5 feet 6½ in my stocking feet,” she proudly proclaimed in 1946, “37½ bust, 24 waist, 35½ hips and I weigh 120.” After 7 failed marriages “and numerous sex scandals,” Marie the Body became ‘The Original GoneGirl’ {foreshadowing the hit 2015 film} when she faked her own kidnapping in 1957. The police—like dance partner Gene Kelly above right—were easily able to see through it.

JUNE HAVER

Born just 9 days after Marilyn Monroe in 1926—and on Sleuth’s birthday no less!—her 34C bust looked even bigger since she was just ‘5-foot-2 with eyes of blue.’

Groomed by Fox studios to be ‘The Pocket Grable’ after their leggy star Betty, she quit the business to enter a convent in 1953 after being outshone in two films by Fox’s newest star … Marilyn Monroe !

BARBARA NICHOLS

Called ‘The Queen of the B Movies,’ Wikipedia says “she was considered a minor rival to Marilyn Monroe.” Yet her lovers included major stars like Cesar (‘The Joker’) Romero, author William Saroyan, Gene Kelly {take that, Marie the Body!} and comedian Jack Carter in 1954 (above right).

In the words of IMDb: “The dame with the shapely frame’ (34D-25-35) changed her reddish-brown hair to platinum blonde after high school and won the beauty titles of Miss Dill Pickle and Miss Mink of 1953.” Candidly speaking, we think she deserved Miss Hot Buns as well {being interviewed, above right).

JEANNE CARMEN

“There are more photos of me in the Fifties than anyone except Marilyn {her roommate and close friend} and Bettie Page,” Jeanne (pronounced ‘Genie’) told her good buddy Sleuth before her death a decade ago. Getting back to where we started, 18-year-old Carmen stole Sinatra from our first full-figured Pilgrim, Ava Gardner, in 1948. “Frank told me he liked that my boobs were bigger than hers—Ava didn’t have particularly big ones.”

“They’re about a 38D or double D these days,” Jeanne volunteered at age 69. She also had affairs with JFK and Elvis, but the baste thing about her (above left) was the sexpot’s skill as a trick shot golfer {top right, she signed both for yours truly}. “I really love that set,” she drove the point home.

That END shot puts the ‘tee’ in Thanksgiving!
