Many films have courted controversy over the years, whether it’s because of sex, nudity, violence, grotesqueness, or just generally scandalous subject matter. And a lot of times, once the initial shock is over, there’s not much reason to go back for more. That’s why it can be a jolt to the system to learn that studios served up a second (or third or fourth) helping in addition to their contentious originals. Here are six surprising sequels trying to outdo skinfamous first films when it comes to nudity.
Showgirls 2: Penny’s From Heaven
Sure, the first one is a cult classic, but for all the wrong reasons. Sixteen years after she appeared in Showgirls, Rena Riffel decided there was more of her backup dancer character Penny’s story to be told, and the blonde babe bared her breasts a bunch more times. This film even steps up the original’s notorious pool sex scene, giving us two splashin’ and thrashin’ naked ladies instead of one.

Life During Wartime
Todd Solondz is well known for provocative pieces of cinema but none more polarizing than 1998’s Happiness, which features a murderer, a rapist, and a pedophile as some of its main characters. Even after winning an award at the Cannes Film Festival, Universal said “Wait, we can’t distribute this.” So it’s incredible to learn that the director’s 2009 drama is about some of the same characters (but played by different actors). Big names Allison Janney and Charlotte Rampling show their big boobs in the film during separate bedroom scenes, seemingly proving that there is life after Happiness. Or at least after working with Todd Solondz.

Nekromantik 2
The first Nekromantik is a German exploitation film about - you guessed it - necrophilia from 1987 that was banned in multiple countries. Four years later, Nekromantik 2, subtitled Die Rückkehr der Liebenden Toten (The Return of the Loving Dead), somehow made it to the big screen, this time with the mam-nificent Monika M. bringing out all three Bs while boinking a very different kind of stiffy.

Silent Night Deadly Night 4
Despite being pulled from theaters so as not to tarnish the reputation of St. Nick, the original slasher flick from 1984 became a horror classic. It’s gone on to spawn four (!) sequels, including Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation, which has Neith Hunter’s hooters all over it.

The Human Centipede II
If you don’t know what the title is referring to, count yourself lucky. The original 2009 film did exactly what it was supposed to do - be the most disgusting thing one could ever imagine. But then two years later, someone decided it wasn’t enough, and that more people needed to be added to the mix. And while more bodies meant more nudity, it’s not most preferable kind of ass-to-mouth action most people would normally be in to.

Sleepaway Camp II
You would think there would be enough Friday the 13th sequels to quench everyone’s thirst for serial killers targeting campers, but still the blatant ripoff Sleepaway Camp became an 80s classic in its own right. It has a bunch of sequels as well, starting with 1988’s Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers, where busty babes Valerie Hartman and Susan Marie Snyder just can’t seem to keep their tops on, giving us great looks at their killer kahunas!
