The Guest (2014)

The Guest (2014) is a taut thriller from Adam Wingard, director of the hugely underrated You're Next (2013)! Dan Stevens stars as David, a soldier who turns up on the doorstep of the Peterson family, claiming that he was a friend of their deceased son. He made a promise to look after his friend's family after his tour was up, and at first, David seems to be a dream come true, but as time goes on, that dream turns into a nightmare as the Peterson family gets more than they ever bargained for from him.
