Our Staff Picks column takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week let's cover one of the absolute BEST years in moviemaking: Jewish movies!
These are not necessarily Channukah movies, but they are movies that take place within the Jewish religion and often celebrate Jewish culture while also being skincredibly sexy.
Disobedience
This 2017 drama took a look at two Jewish women in the orthodox community who are wildly attracted to one another. One of them gets ostracized from her community for falling in love with her female friend and when she returns home, their attraction has remained the same. Rachel McAdams and Rachel Weisz are two friends with strong feelings for each other in this film about uncontrollable desire.
I have an uncontrollable desire for these wildly talented and sexy actresses. Little did I know that I would develop a fetish of sorts for watching the two of them intimately spit into one another's mouths, but that is exactly what this movie provided me. Thank you, movie.
Shiva Baby
Sadly, there is no nudity from leading lady Rachel Sennott, but this hilarious comedy about a Jewish girl coming of age had us all interested in the budding starlet and her side buds. That's right - there IS side boob! Rachel is a rising star who also showed her big bright eyes in the film Bodies Bodies Bodies earlier this year. Keep an eye on her because I expect big things and bigger nude scenes (even if she is actually a shiksa).
The Holy Land
Let's head over to Israel for a sexy film that shows us that The Holy Land is also The Hottest Land. Eitan Gorlin directed this film about an orthodox student studying the Torah who decides to shake things up in his life by getting a job at a strip club and dating a Russian sex worker. To each their own! Tchelet Semel is the Russian hottie who gives our leading man a handie!
We also see plenty of Hebrew hedonism from Julia Gilinski who plays one of the strippers. She gets completely nude and works a pole very suggestively. Then she leaves nothing up to suggestion when she bends over to show her hole. There is nothing left to the imagination here! If you were praying for nudity, then The Holy Land has you covered with these two uncovered ladies from Israel.
An American Hippie in Israel
Let's leave on a far-out note with this weird culture clash of a cult classic from the 1970s about American hippies who head to Israel to experience true freedom. Freedom, as it turns out, means being free from your clothes. A sun-kissed Lily Avidan shows off her tan-lined tits as she lays in post-coital nude bliss with her Israeli lover. Take a look at Lily's unshorn 70s bush in true hippie fashion!
She is not the only one who goes nude for a groovy time. Tzila Karney takes off her top in a car with the roof down for double topless action. These hippies are having the time of their life in Israel, proving that Jewish guys and girls know how to party!
