Our Staff Picks column is a new addition that takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version has a decidedly nude angle, as we suss out which films from a certain genre with great nudity. This week: college co-eds!
College has started across the country, so you might feel like re-living the days of dorm rooms and frat parties. What better way to relive those memories than with some mamories from college movies? These are classics with A LOT of nudity. After all, college is for sexploration!
Animal House
We need to start with the creme-de-la-creme of college movies: the comedy classic Animal House. I mean, how could I not? John Belushi's starring role lives in cinema history as the party boy of the Delta House whose frat is on the verge of getting shut down due to, well, parties. As Delta House feuds with the preppy jerks from Omega House, we get to enjoy A LOT of sexy young women throughout the film.
Mary Louise Weller has my favorite scene in which she strips nude in front of a window as Belushi watches. Sarah Holcomb also has a very famous scene that displays the beauty topless. These ladies are certainly handing out free crash courses in anatomy!
Kicking and Screaming
Before he co-wrote Barbie with his wife Greta Gerwig, Noah Baumbach was writing indie Gen X classics like Kicking and Screaming. This ensemble film is filled with witty, over-educated dialogue and it is coupled with gorgeous women showing their tits. That's a win-win for me! While recent graduates wonder what to do next with their lives, they can't seem to leave their college co-eds alone.
Not only does Perrey Reeves get naked in her room to show off her PERFECT pair, but some of the boys sleep with college girls and wake up in their dorm. It's no wonder these dudes have a hard time moving on from college!
The Rules of Attraction
Bret Easton Ellis was a prolific novel writer who gave us American Psycho...but he also gave us this fascinating look at the troubled students at a liberal arts college in New England. The 2002 film adaptation became a cult classic filled with stars like James Van Der Beek, Theresa Wayman, and Kate Bosworth going through some issues as they try to make it through college.
Jessica Biel stars and she never goes nude, but she plays the hot sorority girl of everyone's dreams as she dances and drinks in her bra and panties at parties with football players. She gets a B for body!
Revenge of the Nerds
One of the absolute classics of college films, Revenge of the Nerds was a massive 1980s hit. The film flips the college movie trope on its head as we follow dweebs who want to be like the cool guys on campus. To stop getting bullied by the football frat, the nerds start their own fraternity and try to beat the cool guys at the Greek Games.
They certainly win when it comes to women. We check out so many hot babes in this movie from topless Julia Montgomery to Lisa Welch. Adjust your glasses so you can see these co-ed cuties better.
