Misfortune (2023)

Julio (Jorge López) is a young scammer who targets old rich ladies, seduces them, and uses to his invitation into their bedrooms to gain access to their fortunes. His last plan gets foiled due to his own libido - he gets caught sleeping with the maid. With not enough money to even buy food, he sets his sights on a new wealthy family, the Urquizas. Meanwhile, Victoria (Macarena Achaga) is also a skilled con artist trying to steal enough money to bail out her father, and she’s also zeroed in on the Urquizas, but focused on the son, while Julio is after the mother. Though using fake names, their meeting is actually a reunion, as they knew each other as children when both their parents were embroiled in a financial scandal. Will they battle it out for the Urquiza’s money or band together in order to get it all? Lisa Owen (as the Urquiza matriarch) sports a silk nighty as Jorge gives her a Tarantino-worthy foot rub, and Camila Valero (as daughter Rafaela) dons a cheeky string bikini by the pool. Looks like fortune favors the sexy!
