Karla’s first smattering of projects kicked off in 2019 with the Spanish musical Érase una Vez, followed by both the video for the song “Lô amantê de Çan Pablo” by Andalusian band Califato ¾ and an episode of Stories to Stay Awake in 2022. Around the time she was set to appear in an episode of the biographical drama series Cristo y Rey, Karla made an even bigger splash by going sans clothes in the Netflix horror film Killer Book Club (El club de los lectores criminales).
