Joking Apart

The bittersweet British comedy series Joking Apart was written by the acclaimedSteven Moffat (Coupling) and originally broadcast from 1993 to 1995 on BBC 2. Based on a 1991 pilot, it portrayed the ongoing relationship of Mark and Becky Taylor (Robert Bathurst and Fiona Gillies) including meeting, falling in love, getting married, and ending up divorced. In the process we learn about the duo living separate lives: Becky having an affair with another man and Mark desperately trying to win his estranged ex-wife back. Nothing worth mentioning nudity-wise, which is a shame since leading actress Fiona Gillies has one of the most mesmerising racks in recent movie and television history. Check out Fio’s Rocky Mountains in the 1989 mini-series Mother Love which features her and some lucky co-star taking a bath. One more reason to become an actor... Sadly this is the Briton’s only nude scene to date. I want more!!!
