Actress, producer, and writer Lena Waithe's hit Showtime series The Chi is returning for its second season this April, and we finally have a trailer that shows off some of what to expect in the new season. Set to Meek Mill's "Championship" this trailer is light on dialogue but heavy on incident as we get some sneak peeks of the returning cast including Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton),Yolonda Ross (The Get Down, Split), Tiffany Boone, (Complications), and more!
While the first season wasn't exactly what we would call jam-packed with nudity, there were some skinsational nude scenes from Tai'isha Davis and nudecomer Birgundi Baker—who is currently competing for Nudecomer of the Year in our Peeper's Choice Awards!
We have no idea at the moment if the second season will feature nudity, but it's a pretty safe bet considering the series is on Showtime and they rarely phase nudity out of their shows the way HBO has done over the years. We'll just have to wait and see, though now that it's February, the wait is much shorter than it felt yesterday!
