Brit babe Georgina Rylance had not given a whole lot of thought to acting or the entertainment business until one fateful night when she was 18-year-old and hanging out in a pub. With a father that is a judge and an educator mother, she intended to go into some sort of science, or maybe literature. However, that night at the pub a modeling agent saw her and ended up signing her. She would go on to model for a short time appearing in a Coca Cola commercial. She left modeling mostly behind when she accepted a place at Oxford Brookes University where she studied politics and publishing. After college is when she began exploring her interest in acting, eventually ending up studying at the famed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Her big break came in the form of a small part in a TV movie called Armadillo (2001). Most well known in England for her part in the popular show Dinotopia, she has started branching out and appearing in Hollywood productions as well.
