Cocoon (2001)

Icelandic freak-pop goddess Björk weirded out even her most seasoned fans with the video for her Cocoon (2001)—and she turned on even those who had never heard of her. In the promotional clip, white-painted Björk stands completely nude before the camera and singing in her signature outrageous style when, suddenly, endless red ribbons flow freely out of her nipples. The ribbons ultimately enshroud her entire body, much like the structure referred to in the title, inside of which a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. But for as long as Björk appears naked on screen, you'll be flapping more than just your wings.
