Marvel’s X-Men franchise gets a sexy retro reboot with X-Men: First Class (2011). The story begins with Magneto, aka Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender), a young Jewish boy who is spared from death by the nefarious Nazi Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon). Shaw wants to use Erik for his own evil ends, but Erik escapes and begins killing the Nazis who are slaughtering his people.
