Small Town Murder Songs (2010)

When the body of a female stranger is found in a garbage dump, a small Ontario town and its Mennonite population are singing Small Town Murder Songs (2010). Town cop Walter (Peter Stormare), who is desperately trying to control his temper with the help of Jesus and his girlfriend Sam (Martha Plimpton), is charged with solving the town's first-ever murder case. Walter’s main suspect is Steve (Stephen Eric McIntyre), current beau of Walter’s ex Rita (Jill Hennessy). As the case- and the fearful, judgmental way the town receives it- develops, something sparks inside of Walter that he’s been trying very, very hard to suppress. There’s skin in them thar fields, like 16 minutes in, when the (uncredited) boobs and bush of comely corpse "Melissa" are exposed as she’s dragged from a field. Later in the film, Alysa Mariano bares rosy rackage on stage as a nosy stripper. These Small Town Murder Songs will make you stum your flesh banjo!
