Wannabe (1996)

In 1996, five sexy British babes sashayed right out of a Delia’s catalogue and onto the top of the pop charts with their debut single "Wannabe". Intended as an ode to female empowerment and “sisters before misters” the video, which was directed by Johan Camitz, shows the girl group running and dancing around the stuffy rich folks at St. Pancras Grand Hotel. While we don’t get to peep any of the Spice Girls nude, we do at least get some zesty cleavage and pokies from Scary Spice Mel B. With the ladies well known penchant for tight crop tops and tiny minidresses, it’s almost weird that we never caught a glimpse of their London Underground, which is what we really really want!
