Un homme perdu (2007)

A photographer and a refugee form an unlikely bond in Un homme perdu (2007). Thomas (Melvil Poupaud) is a world traveling shutterbug always looking for new and exciting things to shoot (and new ladies to pork). Fouad (Alexander Siddig) escaped from war-torn Beirut 22 years ago and is still dealing with a trauma that left an indelible mark on his psyche. When Thomas snaps a photo of Fouad making out with a woman at the border between Syria and Jordan, it sets off a chain of events that compels the pair to confront the past. Darina El Joundi unleashes her amazing caramel cha-chas for this film playing a mysterious ex-wife. Why someone would want to get rid of her, we’ll never know.
