Gorgeous vixen Victoria Justice is a full-grown woman who is taking on harder roles than she was previously known for. She was once a star on children's television, but she's now doing sex scenes like the one in her upcoming film Depravity. Last week she talked about her first-ever sex scene and I am here to tell you what we learned.
When she was on SiriusXM's Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon, Victoria was very open about this sex scene. She was on the show to promote her latest single "Raw" and she got raw about her experience in her first sex scene. How did she feel about it? Not the best. It turns out that her sex scene was shot FIRST in the shooting schedule and this made Victoria very nervous and even, as she said, "uncomfortable".
“My first day on set I had my first ever sex scene. I’m like, ‘Really, guys? We’re gonna schedule this for the first day? Cool. Thanks for that,'” Justice said. “It is uncomfortable. I was actually very nervous about it and totally anxious about the entire situation, and I was like, ‘Did I make the wrong choice? I don’t know if I should do this.'”
She went on to say that it got better and that she felt that the crew was very tasteful and respectful about how nervous she was. That's understandable and it's also something that we rarely think about. Films and TV shows have to have amazing crews for sex scenes. Everyone has to be on their best behavior and be careful not to do anything that would make the actors uncomfortable. It's all with one goal in mind: filming a hot sex scene! What a job!
She talked about how she and her co-star were friendly, but they didn't really know each other. Well, now they certainly do! All jokes aside, that has got to feel weird. Sometimes you hear things that make you realize "acting is a really weird job" and that was one of those for me.
Victoria did say she felt better because of how much she trusted the director. That's saying a lot because this is the director's directorial debut. Paul Tamasy is the director and he has previously written the movie The Fighter which was directed by David O. Russell. That means that he learned from the best! Depravity is a thriller about neighbors in an apartment building who suspect that someone in the building is a serial killer. Their amateur investigation turns up something else crazy: an epic art heist.
She said, “He made me feel very comfortable about it and said, ‘Listen, I’ll show it to you beforehand. If you don’t like it then we’ll change it.'” Um, show you how?! I wonder what he meant by that, but whatever he meant it seemed to work out just fine. We can't wait to see Victoria do her very first sex scene justice. Let's hope for nudity!
