Twisted Metal (2023)

The 2023 Peacock Original Series Twisted Metal is based on the classic Playstation game of the same name, executive produced by the guys behind Deadpool (2016), which should give a good indication of the show's tone. Anthony Mackie stars as John Doe, an amnesiac milkman living in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where he is given the opportunity to complete a mission with the end goal being that he can then build his way to a better life. Tasked by a mysterious man known only as Agent Stone (Thomas Haden Church) with delivering a package, John doesn't realize that everyone and everything will stand in his way to prevent him from making this journey. It's only after meeting and teaming up with a car thief named Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) that John begins to see that this mission might not be so impossible after all!

Despite the copious amounts of bloody violence and foul language, the show is lacking in the skin department, though we're holding out hope that may change over the course of the show's first season. Stephanie Beatriz comes close to showing some skin while stepping out of a shower and having sex with Mackie in a ball pit, but the truly Twisted thing about this show is that there's no nudity!
