The Guide to the Perfect Family (2021)

The French-Canadian comedy The Guide to the Perfect Family (2021) takes on that age old question of how a couple can become great parents with a perfect life in this increasingly hectic world of ours. Of course, the simple answer is that there is no such thing as a perfect family, but we're going to have to go on a two hour journey for these characters to learn that lesson. Martin (Louis Morissette) and Marie-Soleil (Catherine Chabot) are a pair of well-meaning parents who only want the absolute best for their teenage daughter Rose (Émilie Bierre) and pre-teen son Mathis (Xavier Lebel), but their insistence on micro-managing every single aspect of their children's lives has driven the family apart more than it's brought them together. Can these helicopter parents learn to give their children room to make mistakes and be children, or will they end up suffocating them with the good intentions that are leading their family to ruin? If nothing else, this flick proves that even French Canadians are dealing with the same issues that plague the rest of the world when it comes to parenting and no one's immune from any of these age old quandaries! Perhaps the best discovery of the film comes in the form of the gorgeous French Canadian beauty Catherine Chabot, who makes her nude debut just three minutes into the film! While in bed with her husband, Catherine's left breast pops out of the top of her slip as she goes to climb on top of him for sex!
