The Getaway King (2021)

In Poland in the late 1980s, there was more news than just the collapse of Communism and the fall of the Berlin Wall, there was also Zdzislaw Najmrodzki (Dawid Ogrodnik). While the name might not ring a bell to some, in Poland he was Clyde Barrow, John Dillinger, and Frank Abagnale Jr. all rolled into one and topped with a bushy mustache!  When the Eastern Bloc was crumbling, this charming gentleman thief was stealing anything that wasn't nailed down in the 1970s through the 80s and became a bit of a folk hero because he was slippery and an expert at escaping authorities.  With 29 different escapes credited to his name, including a train station, a courthouse window, and the Warsaw police headquarters, he became a legend in his homeland!  The ladies also loved him too and the marvelous Masza Wągrocka makes her Nudecomer debut in a sex scene with him while he's out on the lam! The didn't call him The Getaway King for nothing!
