Saint Maud (2020)

The good book might have said "But know that the lord has set apart the Godly man for himself!"  So for the overly shy and pious nurse, Maud (Morfydd Clark), she's taking the scripture as more than just a morality tale, especially after an obscure trauma has left her reeling from her previously wicked ways.  The only problem is, Maud's disturbed psyche from her past trauma are taking her to scary new places with her religious fervor...  She's having visions of evil all around her, everything is a sign from God, and she is going to be the new savior for as many souls as she can convince!  When Maud is tasked with home hospice care for the retired dancer, Amanda (Jennifer Ehle), she's going to do everything in her power to save this wicked non-believer from eternal damnation.  Maud doesn't just decide to pray for her poor cancer riddled body, or for her to cross over in peace, she's convinced the demons inside of this sick and dying woman could potentially drag others down to hell with her, so Saint Maud's psychotic religious interpretations are definitely not ideal medical care for someone not long for this world...  As Maud continues to have terrifying visions of demons and the sky opening up to her and her followers, she begins to see herself as a hidden stoic Saint among the wicked and there is no telling what she might be capable of, to others or herself!  This flick marks the Nude-Comer debut for Morfydd Clark, who gives us a cheek clapping ride on a one-night stand as well as a lovely little shower scene.  We also get to see the juicy Jennifer Ehle in some low-cut tops while partying it up!
