Safe Inside (2019)

Safe Inside (2019) is a thriller that touches on the fears of many Americans traveling abroad. Ana (Andrea Tivadar) and Tom (Tom Ainsley) are an American couple making their way across the remote French countryside when they run out of money. They soon arrive at the estate of a wealthy weirdo named Richard (Steven Brand) who takes pity on the poor travelers and offers them jobs working at his estate in an effort to help them get back on their feet, the only condition being that they don't leave the grounds of the estate. While Tom is immediately hostile toward Richard, Ana takes a shine to the eccentric fella, not least of all because Richard is clearly infatuated with her. After a number of bizarre occurrences on the property, Tom decides he's going to make a run for it, making his way over the wall of the estate before waking up in a hospital. It turns out, Tom's been in a coma this entire time and has been dreaming the events of the first act. Or is he? The film's central mystery deepens as Tom tries to make his way back to Ana, only to discover something much more nefarious at play! We were excited to see Skin favorite Joanna Kulig's name in the credits, but she doesn't go nude in the flick. Thankfully Andrea Tivadar picks up the slack, going topless three times over the course of the film, including during a steamy shower scene! While watching this flick, your hand will be Safe Inside your jockey shorts!
