46 years after the release of the beloved family classic The Wizard of Oz (1939), Disney decided it was time to bring their franchise under their umbrella and deliver the first proper sequel with Return to Oz (1985). Written and directed by Oscar winning sound designer Walter Murch, the film is loosely based on the second and third books in L. Frank Baum's Oz series, 1904's The Marvelous Land of Oz and 1907's Ozma of Oz. Dorothy Gale (Fairuza Balk) is still obsessed with the Land of Oz to the point where her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry bring her to a psychiatric facility run by Dr. Worley (Nicol Williamson), who claims that he can cure her madness with his revolutionary electro-shock therapy treatment. After a power failure at the facility, Dorothy suddenly finds herself back in the Emerald City of Oz, which has fallen into disrepair after the King Scarecrow was abducted by the evil Nome King. The city is now run by Mombi (Jean Marsh), a wicked princess who collects the heads of her prisoners, who intends to do the same to Dorothy, who must now find the deposed Scarecrow and help save the Land of Oz from certain destruction. As a Disney produced family film—even one as dark as this—you shouldn't really be expecting any nudity, but there is a sexy scene where two handmaidens, played by Sophie Ward and Fiona Victory, wear sheer gowns with nothing on underneath, giving us a pretty clear look at their breasts! That'll have you saying, "There's no place like FOAM!"
