Rest in Peace (2024)

The Argentine Netflix original film Rest in Peace (2024) poses an interesting question... can a man fake his own death and walk away from his life, restart a new life in a new country under a new name, and then forever resist the temptation to check back in on the people from that old life? Sergio (Joaquín Furriel) has seemingly spent his entire adult life in crippling debt that is finally catching up to him. Fearful for the life of his beloved wife Estela (Griselda Siciliani), he takes advantage of a deadly coincidence that would allow him to fake his death and disappear. While he seems to make a clean getaway, the mystery of how the people in his old life have reacted to his death eats away at him constantly, causing him to risk everything in pursuit of some answers! Honestly, his new life includes boinking the gorgeous Lali Gonzalez, who bares her boobs and buns during a sex scene, so we think it would be possible to be content living that life!
