Rare Objects (2023)

College dropout Benita Parla (Julia Mayorga) returns to her widowed mom’s place in Queens after a violent sexual encounter in a bar bathroom caused her to check herself into a psychiatric hospital with PTSD. She ends up getting a job at an antique shop in Manhattan run by Alan Cumming and Derek Luke, where she’s serendipitously reunited with her psych hospital BFF Diana (Katie Holmes, who also directed and wrote the film with musician and producer Phaedon A. Papadopoulos), who it turns out is actually a wealthy socialite. Katie may be crazy but it’s her overflowing cleavage that’s driving us insane!
