Pamela, A Love Story (2023)

Model and actress Pamela Anderson has never really been tight-lipped when it comes to the salacious details of her private life so it’s not surprising that the buxom blonde bombshell would want to release a documentary in order to take back the narrative of her life from outsiders like Robert Seigel (creator of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy series). In this, director Ryan White mix recent footage of Pamela back in Ladysmith, British Columbia, trying to live under the radar plus rehearsing to make her Broadway debut as foxy Roxie Hart in the Kander & Ebb musical Chicago with archival footage from naked photo shoots and bikini-clad home movies (and no we’re not talking about that one). It’s full of classic Pam Anderson nudity, the stuff of every 90s boys’ fantasies where all three B’s - but especially those breathtakingly bouyant breasts - are on full display. The difference is that the fruit of her luscious labor is, in the case of this documentary, actually shared with her permission, and yet is still just as sweet.
