Nightsiren (2022)

After the death of her abusive mother, Šarlota (Natalia Germani) returns to the small mountain village she ran from as a child and ends up meeting a young herbalist named Mira (Eva Mores) who’s also recently arrived. It turns out the cabin Šarlota used to live in is now the place where teenagers go and tell scary stories about witches and that coupled with the town’s rampant homophobic attitude towards her friendly skinny-dipping with Mira causes the villagers to label the two as slutty, sapphic sorceresses. The original title of the film was apparently Svetlonoc which translates to “bright night” and that’s exactly what we get thanks to a colorful, psychedelic forest orgy sequence that leads into a hot bang session and your typical naked ladies dancing around a fire. This is reportedly also the same place the 1999 cannibal film Ravenous was filmed, but we definitely prefer the heaping helpings of boob, butt, and bush we’re served in this.
