You simply can't beat a good anthology series!  Each season is somewhat different but the core thematics remain largely the same from season to season.  True Detective, Fargo, American Horror Story, and now something that doesn't make you want to cry or scream, Miracle Workers.  This series stars some solid heavy hitters with Steve Buscemi and Daniel Radcliffe taking on multiple roles from season to season.  Season 1 is a workplace comedy that follows God (Steve Buscemi) and a couple of really low level angels, Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) and Craig (Daniel Radcliffe) who solve minor miracles like helping an idiot in Chicago find his car keys.  That is until they are tasked with saving everyone on Earth from God's ambivalent idea of just getting rid of it all and starting a new.  They convince him that they can get two people to fall in love, it'll all be worth not destroying!  Season 2 is in the Dark Ages, with the entire cast returning in different roles, Season 3 is on the Oregon Trail, and who knows what the next seasons will bring!  Lucky for us though, the genius mind of Simon Rich who wrote for Saturday Night Live and brought us Man Seeking Woman is helming this anthology and we certainly can expect the absurdity of humor to shine through.  Especially in Season 3, where on the Oregon Trail, a group of prostitutes at the brothel, lead by the busty Sandy Honig, recruits Prudence Aberdeen (Geraldine Viswanathan) to throw on a former co-workers dress to "live the glamorous life"...  As her co-worker was just stabbed to death in it.
