Medellin (2023)

Reda (Ramzy Bedia), the proprietor of a boxing/MMA gym in Paris, needs to rally the beefcakes who frequent his training center to accompany him on a dangerous mission to rescue his Pablo Escobar-emulating baby brother Brahim after it appears the social media influencer was kidnapped by narcos. The only ones to actually show up though are his adopted brother Stan (played by writer/director Franck Gastambide) and Chafix (Anouar Toubali) but they still hop a flight to Colombia to face off with the cartel and bring back Brahim. Once they arrive, they are pointed toward a strip club and try to get answers from a very sexy pole dancer (Essined Aponte) in a shiny bra and lacy thong who also happens to speak French. She warns the men of danger, but instead of leaving, they take the party up to a hotel suite where they dance around with a bunch of other scantily clad women. At some point, the trio ends up doing way too much cocaine and Stan has a funny dream where they bound and gag the son of a ruthless cartel boss named El Diablo. Except it wasn’t a dream, and now they’re really Medellin in things that are out of their league!
