The Three Musketeers - Part I: D'Artagnan (2023)

On a rainy night in 1627, D’Artagnan (François Civil) arrives in Paris with the hope of becoming one of King Louis XIII’s faithful and brave Musketeers. He ends up meeting and then accidentally offending three men and dragged into a duel (or whatever you would call it when it’s three against one - a fourl? A quarl? A quarrel?) only to discover that those three men are the very Musketeers he longs to join, and a bromance for the ages is born. Soon Athos (Vincent Cassel), Portos (Pio Marmai), Aramis (Romain Duris), and D’Artagnan are wise to a fake treason plot by the evil Cardinal Richelieu (Eric Ruf) and spring into action. But wait! There’s also a subplot where Athos is framed for the murder of Charlotte Ranson after he wakes up in bed to find her bare bosom all bloodied up beside him. But with sexy Skin vets like Vicky Krieps and Eva Green in the mix, you still might find yourself engaging in some swordplay of your own!
