Review

Dripping with sleazy ’70s style, the Mexican drama Las del talon (1977) follows the adventures of a puffy-haired pimp and his curvy harem as they navigate the neon-drenched city streets. Directed with plenty of period pizzazz by filmmaker Alejandro Galindo, the film stars Jaime Moreno as the ‘fro-wearing moneyman who takes time out from business to sample his wares. Pilar Pellicer stars as a willing courtesan who bangs her boss with enthusiasm during a revealing romp in a gaudy motel room.
