Divinas palabras (1978)

It ain’t easy being a gorgeous free spirit who can’t be bothered with moral codes and social strictures, not if a well-orchestrated conspiracy of bitter trolls and keepers of public morality connives to bring you down to their accustomed level of misery. Such is the fate of the plucky and would-be happy-go-lucky heroine of Divinas palabras (1977), a prurient parable of envy and bitterness bringing shame upon the bared breasts of an unfettered hedonist. The way stations along the rutted road to damnation play out in an underworld milieu of hookers and robbers. The self-proclaimed good folks appear to be infinitely more grotesque than the bad.
