Die Ehe der Maria Braun (1979)

A German woman carries a torch for her long-lost soldier husband in Rainer Werner Fassbinder's arthouse hit The Marriage of Maria Braun (1979). Maria (Hanna Schygulla) and Hermann (Klaus Löwitsch) have only been married for a few days when he is called to the front to fight. After the end of WWII, Maria is told Hermann has been killed; she is devastated, but takes a job working in a nightclub where she strikes up a romance with African-American soldier Bill (George Byrd). Then Hermann unexpectedly returns home, very much alive...Hanna is indeed intoxicating in her nylons-and-corset "work uniform," and if it's SKINterracial lovin' you're looking for, you'll find it in the scene where Hermann walks in on Maria and Bill in bed together.
